Packaging

Devices are packed individually into padded paper boxes.

The packaging includes all information required for proper use and servicing of the equipment.

Installation

The device must be installed on a vertical plane (wall) for optimal working conditions. Holes for intake of air pointing down and vent holes pointing up. The TOP of the device is either marked TOP or with an arrow pointing to the TOP of the device. TOP of the device should point upwards (towards ceiling).

For monitoring CO2 levels in classrooms or offices we recommend to install the sensor on the wall, minimum 1 meter distance from sitting person at the same hight as heads of people in the classroom or office.

Do not install facing direct sunlight.

Do not install into environments where relative air humidity stays above 80% RH for prolonged periods of time.

Device radio information is written on the packaging of the device. Serial ID is written on the device itself on the right edge of the device. Please use this serial number to communicate support requests with your supplier.

CO2 probe calibration

To adjust CO2 probe against reference CO2 reading please execute following steps:

  • Download "nRF Toolbox for Bluetooth LE" from Apple store or Google Play Store
  • Connect to the device according to the serial number written on the sensor enclosure
  • Tap "NUS/UART" and the console will launch
  • Execute the following command (without quotes):
  • "run frc 450" - where 450 is the reference value on the reference sensor
  • The calibration procedure will take up to 3 minutes. Logging information will be displayed in the console.
  • The sensor will reboot automatically after the calibration is finished.
